The complete environment

Monitor & Control Usage of Android & OPS-Based Interactive Flat Panels

As panels and Windows OPS computers spread across campuses, tracking equipment, connectivity, applications and support entitlements becomes harder. Ensonic Device Management brings supported devices into a cloud-based administrative view organized by institution, campus, room and device.

Authorized administrators can enrol eligible devices, review reported status and send supported actions to selected devices. Controls depend on the operating system, installed client, device capabilities and granted permissions; this is not universal remote control.

Know what is deployed

Maintain customer, site, room, device name, serial number, product ID, model, operating system, client version, licence validity, warranty and AMC records, with administrative review and update.

Review reported status

The dashboard shows online/offline status, last communication, storage and RAM utilization, installed application inventory, reported capabilities, alerts and command history.

Coordinate support responsibly

Tenant-scoped access, role permissions, activation/deactivation, licence controls and administrative-command audit records support accountable operations. Service commitments are agreed separately.

Solution planning

Use cases, scope and implementation.

The final design depends on the institution, site and project requirements. These points provide a practical starting framework.

Where it fits

  • Interactive display fleets across classrooms and campuses
  • Connected room technology across offices or multiple sites
  • Central visibility for IT and support teams

Potential scope

  • Supported device registry, status, application inventory and licence records
  • Tenant roles and permitted fleet operations on eligible clients
  • Compatibility, privacy and service terms confirmed before rollout

Implementation approach

  1. Inventory supported devices, networks and administrator roles
  2. Configure the management environment and device onboarding
  3. Test monitoring and permitted actions with representative devices
  4. Orient support teams and agree operational ownership

Examples are planning options. Service availability, location coverage, delivery schedule, support and commercial terms are confirmed for each project before a proposal is agreed.

Enrol Devices with Administrative Control

Android panels use QR-code enrolment with administrator approval. Windows OPS devices use an installation package and device-specific setup configuration. Confirm device make, model, operating system, client version and required permissions before rollout.

Coordinate Fleet Actions Across Locations

Fleet Operations lets administrators filter and select eligible devices. Supported actions can include on-screen messages, recorded audio announcements on Android panels, opening websites, launching installed applications, pushing configuration and requesting screenshots or logs.

Application restarts, Windows service restarts, locking, reboot and shutdown depend on the operating system, enrolled client and device permissions. Demonstrate the required commands on representative equipment before committing a fleet-wide scope.

Application Deployment and Configuration

Application deployment supports Android APK and Windows EXE/MSI packages on eligible clients. Application removal depends on platform permissions and installer support. Package compatibility, installation rights, prompts and operational policies must be checked for each rollout.

Advanced remote screen control, camera snapshots, silent installation and Android power controls require additional client modules, permissions or manufacturer integration. These are not default commitments and must be confirmed for the exact deployment.

Understand Activity Without Overclaiming Usage

Reports include device inventory, licence expiry, connectivity events and day-wise recorded activity. Android foreground-application events are available only when usage permission is enabled.

Windows running-process snapshots show applications running at the reporting time. They do not establish active teaching time, exact application usage duration, attention or learning effectiveness. Review report definitions and access controls before using activity records in institutional decisions.

Manage Access and Institutional Networks

Customer access is separated by tenant, with role-based permissions and audit records for administrative commands. Confirm the intended administrator roles and device ownership during setup; no additional security certification, data-residency or retention commitment is implied here.

Supported clients communicate with the cloud through outbound HTTPS, without requiring inbound ports at customer sites for this communication model. Internet-connected LAN or Wi-Fi can provide the network path. Cloud communication needs internet connectivity; LAN availability alone does not provide offline cloud management. Confirm firewall and proxy requirements.

Device Compatibility and Rollout Checklist

  1. List device makes, models, operating systems and existing management clients.
  2. Identify campuses, rooms, administrators and tenant boundaries.
  3. Confirm internet, firewall and proxy policies.
  4. Agree permitted commands, application packages and installation rights.
  5. Demonstrate enrolment, fleet operations and reports on representative devices.
  6. Review cloud hosting, privacy, licensing, updates and support terms before procurement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which devices can be managed?

Supported Android interactive flat panels, Windows OPS computers and selected site servers. Confirm compatibility by make, model, operating system and available client modules.

Does enrolment require administrator approval?

Android QR-code enrolment requires administrator approval. Windows OPS uses an installation package and device-specific configuration.

Can applications be installed and removed remotely?

Eligible Android APK and Windows EXE/MSI deployment is supported. Removal and unattended installation depend on operating-system, device and installer permissions.

Can the reports measure exact teaching time?

No. Android foreground events require usage permission; Windows process snapshots are point-in-time records and cannot establish teaching time or exact usage duration.

Can every screen be remotely controlled?

No. Advanced screen control, camera access and selected power actions need validated modules, permissions and sometimes manufacturer integration.

Do warranty and AMC records include a service guarantee?

No. Records can hold entitlement information; coverage and response commitments come from the applicable service agreement.

Discuss your project

Evaluate the fleet by platform, model and permission

Start with a device inventory and the actions administrators actually need. Supported Android panels, Windows OPS computers and site servers may expose different capabilities, so a fleet demonstration should use representative devices and permissions.
